Alawi Team

Mr Alawi has over 20 years of experience in corporate and public institutions. He focuses majorly on Maritime, Insurance, and Logistics Industries. He also attends private client matters and general Corporate Advisory. He played crucial roles and consulted in a number of major logistics and Port related projects.

Mr Alawi has held high positions of Public Responsibility at Kenya Ports Authority as a Senior Port Legal Advisor and a Commissioner of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC)

Mr Alawi has an LLM from the Institute of Maritime Law (IMO) Malta. He is also a Certified Public Secretary (CPS).

Catherine is experienced in collating information and evaluating legal data in order to provide varied legal solutions. Her focus is on dispute resolution areas of employment, commercial, and land matters. She also has wide experience in commercial law working on both local and international contracts and agreements.

Catherine has an LLB from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree at the same University.

Aziza is an Associate of the firm and has reputable skills in reviewing and evaluating legal data and analyzing information for decision-making purposes. Her areas of practice include; Family Law, Real Estate Projects, Commercial, and Banking Law.

She holds a Bachelors of Law Degree from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law. 

Ruqayya is an Associate at the firm and has reputable skills in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Her area of expertise includes corporate and commercial disputes, employment and industrial relations disputes, judicial and constitutional related matters, probate and administrative matters.

She holds a Bachelors of Law Degree from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is currently pursuing her Certified Secretary professional certificate examinations at KASNEB.

Mariam is in charge of general office administration and managing of the office staff.

Mariam is a graduate of the University of Nairobi and holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce- Finance Option.

Eshe is a paralegal in our Mombasa office. She has vast experience in Conveyancing matters and handles a lot of such matters diligently and effectively. She is also in charge of general office administration in our Mombasa office.

Doreen is the Nairobi office assistant. She is responsible for the preparation and filing of court documents.

Vincent is the clerk in Mombasa office. He is responsible for the preparation of court documents and organizing dockets.

Sumaiya is an experienced accountant by profession. She is very efficient, organized and well-educated on IT. She handles the front desk operations while assisting in any other office works.

Margaret is the front desk officer in the Mombasa office and closely works with Ms. Eshe Salim, our paralegal in Mombasa in handling matters of Conveyancing. She is also engaged in drafting legal documentation and maintaining files and records in the registry.

Kenneth is an Associate at the firm. His main areas of focus are Corporate, Commercial and Finance Law, Corporate Governance, Tax Law and other related areas. He is also involved in dispute resolution, especially on matters of a commercial nature.

He holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. Kenneth is also a Certified Secretary and Certified Public Accountant.
